We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager to join our team at Longreach Recruitment. As a Centre Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of shopping centres, focusing on maximizing returns and turnover for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Centre Management: Directly liaise with clients regarding management, marketing, leasing, and operational activities.
- Financial Planning: Prepare and implement annual income and expenditure budgets, business plans, marketing plans, and monthly reports.
- Financial Performance: Ensure financial targets are achieved and arrears are followed.
- Sinking Fund Management: Maintain sinking funds and prepare income, likely expenditure, and probable balance.
- Leasing and Marketing: Actively participate in all areas of leasing, including advertising, seeking tenants, rent reviews, collection of figures, and reconciliations.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all operations and maintenance conform to Workplace Health and Safety Legislative requirements and risk management is in place.
- Presentation and Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations to various stakeholders and interested parties as required.
- Team Management: Act as a personal coach to direct reports, setting specific performance objectives and targets.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have strong market knowledge and proven success in a Centre Management or senior Retail Management position. You will operate with high ethical standards, ensuring compliance with laws and legislations. You will also have high-level financial acumen, commercial intelligence, and negotiation skills.
