Job Title: Automation Transformation Lead

Are you an experienced Automation Transformation expert seeking a new challenge? This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver automation projects, working closely with our team to drive business growth and improvement.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in automation transformation, who can develop and implement effective solutions that drive commercial value. As an Automation Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for guiding project managers, removing blockers, and ensuring timely delivery. You will also lead and coach a team of engineers, supporting their growth through structured 1:1s, feedback, and personal development planning.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering internal systems and automation projects, ideally in an MSP or SaaS-heavy environment. They will possess a strong understanding of Agile delivery, system ownership, and change management, as well as technical fluency with APIs, integration design, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a roadmap across internal platforms, including both off-the-shelf and custom-built solutions.
- Guide project managers in backlog management, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead and coach a team of engineers, supporting their growth through structured 1:1s, feedback, and personal development planning.
- Ensure solutions (built or bought) actually get used by rolling out adoption plans, including internal comms, metrics, training, and follow-up to hit 85%+ active usage within 90 days.
- Evaluate whether to customize, extend, or replace existing systems, leading rapid scoping, proof-of-concepts, and ROI modelling.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience delivering internal systems and automation projects, ideally in an MSP or SaaS-heavy environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery, system ownership, and change management.
- Commercial focus, confident in ROI modelling, licensing decisions, and impact-led prioritisation.
- Technical fluency with APIs, integration design, and security best practices.
