As a Speech Pathologist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Helping children achieve developmental milestones, such as communicating wants and needs.
  • Educating and involving parents, carers, and others around the child to support communication and language development.
  • Supporting children to speak with clear and correct pronunciation.
  • Treating stuttering and articulation disorders.
  • Addressing literacy, reading, and writing difficulties in conjunction with teachers and schools.
  • Teaching children safe food and drink management skills.

Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings fresh ideas to the team. Key requirements include:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology or currently completing.
  • Eligibility for registration upon graduating.
  • Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating soon.
  • A full valid driver's license, with access to your own vehicle and third-party insurance.
  • A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • A current Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with attention to detail.
