Job Title: Coastal Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Coastal Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our National Maritime Team, you will lead the technical delivery of new and interesting projects, applying your existing experience across various industries including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work on large-scale multi-discipline maritime facilities, collaborating with a range of other disciplines across KBR and other partners. You will be responsible for designing and planning activities, leveraging your expertise to deliver everything from concept designs through to construction phase support.

The ideal candidate will have more than 15 years' experience in coastal engineering, with significant experience in designing, evaluating, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures. They will also have familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines, as well as experience working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Chartered Professional Engineer or ability to get chartership within an agreed timeframe
  • More than 15 years' experience in coastal engineering
  • Significant experience in designing, evaluating, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures
  • Familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines
  • Experience working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector
