About Service Stream


We are a leading provider of data driven solutions to our business, and we're seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Automation Data Solutions Specialist.


As a key member of our GBIS Automation Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering data driven solutions across various contracts and divisions within Service Stream. Your primary focus will be contributing to the overall efficiency of our projects by delivering and maintaining automated data solutions.


About The Role



  • Working closely with project stakeholders, your primary focus will be contributing to the overall efficiency of our projects by delivering and maintaining automated data solutions across various platforms.
  • Taking ownership of, and actively managing and monitoring existing solutions.
  • Becoming a key point of contact for the GBIS Automation Team for our project SMEs.
  • Assisting with development and day-to-day activities, working with the remainder of the Automation Team.
  • Contributing to business process improvement through maintaining industry best practices.
  • Cultivating a collaborative working relationship with the team, coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Identifying opportunities for automation throughout the business and internally, developing business cases to support these.

About You:


Our ideal candidate will have:



  • Tertiary qualifications in science, maths, engineering or technology.
  • A strong working knowledge with ETL Processes (Safe Software FME Platform, Alteryx, PowerAutomate, LogicApps, etc.).
  • Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or alike).
  • Strong technical and professional communication skills, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to one or more of the following would be highly beneficial: CI/CD tools like Jira, Git, database administration, system integrations and data analytics, programming languages (Python, R, etc.), project management information systems and their use in construction and maintenance projects.

How Much Will I Get Paid?


We offer a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
