Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver in-depth analysis and recommendations to clients on Carbon and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues
  • Support business strategy with expertise in carbon accounting, consulting, and financial analysis
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and solutions to decarbonize

Requirements:

  • Related tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Legal, or a related discipline
  • Carbon Accounting or Consulting experience, preferably with a large company or a leading consulting firm
  • Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Marginal Abatement Cost Curves, data management, and report writing
  • Entrepreneurial strategic thinking, collaboration, and adaptability
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Wide knowledge of industry and solutions to decarbonize
  • Expertise in NGERs, NPI, TCFD, SASB, and GRI
  • Ability to build rapport, manage relationships, and negotiate
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • A self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
