
Lead Woman-Centred Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Midwife to join our dynamic team at the Birth Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality, woman-centred midwifery care in accordance with the ANMC National Competency Standards for the Midwife.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience and competency to practise as a midwife in antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care, lactation and infant feeding. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide midwifery care in various settings, including antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care.
- Support lactation and infant feeding.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Recent experience and competency to practise as a midwife in antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care, lactation and infant feeding.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
