Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive annual salary of $85,000 (10% above award) with generous salary packaging of up to $15,900 each FBT year. Our benefits include a Paid Parental Leave program for all ongoing employees after 12 months of service, discounted rates for staff at bestchance childcare centres, and access to an Employee Wellbeing Program.
Job DescriptionThis role involves working alongside the team at Armstrong Creek East Children's Centre, creating a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children and families. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will develop warm, respectful, and positive relationships with staff, children, and families from diverse backgrounds.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and care services, following the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. This position requires experience in a child care environment, working within a strength-based and family-centred approach.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must have completed an approved Diploma or Certificate III in Education and Care qualification. Additionally, you need to hold a valid Working with Children Check, current First Aid and CPR Certificate, and have successfully completed 'Protecting Children - Mandatory reporting and other obligations for the Early Childhood Sector' training.
Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and National Regulations. They possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and families from diverse backgrounds.
