Medical Facility Cleaning Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Facility Cleaning Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our medical facilities, maintaining high standards of infection control and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a high standard of cleaning in clinical and non-clinical areas to meet infection control, hygiene, audit and aesthetic standards.
  • Cleaning duties include hospital wards, Theatre department, Emergency Department, Mental Health unit, public areas and at community-based clinics.
  • Ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and utilized efficiently.
  • Collaborating with the Cleaning Team to ensure a clean and safe hospital environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A good attention to detail and ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • An organized and reliable approach to work.
  • Excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
