This role requires a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to lead our kitchen team. As a Culinary Leader, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in the kitchen.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cooking, with experience in leading high-performing teams and driving results through exceptional food quality and presentation.

You will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas, improve existing dishes, and ensure that all culinary standards are met.

This is a key position within our organization, and we are seeking someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding culinary experiences and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pioneering guest satisfaction through exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Cultivating a culture of innovation and pushing culinary boundaries.
  • Providing hands-on leadership during service periods and shifts.
  • Collaborating closely with the F&B Service leadership team.
  • Ensuring rigorous departmental training aligns with high standards.
  • Fostering seamless communication and coordination with all hotel departments.
  • Overseeing workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Contributing to seasonal menu creation, promotional offerings, and event packages.
  • Partnering with the Executive Chef to manage food costs and labour productivity.
  • Supporting efficient procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of culinary delights.
  • Championing the hotel's food safety program to meet and exceed regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery.
  • Proven leadership skills to drive the kitchen team and work with the floor team to produce award-winning cuisine.
  • Experience in controlling food and labour costs.
  • Well-developed communication and time management skills.
  • A strong visionary with ambitious expectations of guest service.
