Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager, Brand and Marketing to lead the strategic development and implementation of our brand strategy and centralised marketing service model across our organisation. This critical role is instrumental in strengthening our brand, improving marketing effectiveness for a diverse portfolio of products and services, and driving impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Lead the formulation and implementation of the brand and marketing strategy across our organisation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and member value.
  • Brand Governance: Develop and manage brand governance frameworks, ensuring the protection and consistent delivery of our brand's identity and promise.
  • Relationship Management: Act as a key advisor to our Chief Member Officer and executive leadership team, cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, business unit leaders, and external partners.
  • Planning & Execution: Oversee the annual marketing planning process, deliver integrated campaigns, and manage our brand's competitive positioning through insights and strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of brand and marketing activities, optimise media spend, and ensure the financial sustainability of key initiatives.
  • Innovation & Collaboration: Enhance the effectiveness of marketing operations, foster cross-functional collaboration and development of new capabilities.

About You:

  • Extensive experience in a brand or marketing leadership role within a large, multi-product, customer-focused organisation.
  • Proven experience in brand management, product marketing, and managing significant marketing budgets with ROI accountability.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute both short and long-term strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce (Business) and Marketing are mandatory.
  • Post-graduate qualifications and professional education in related fields are desirable.
