We are seeking an experienced Compliance Expert to join our team at MECCA Brands Pty Ltd. This is a key role that requires strong regulatory knowledge and experience in ensuring compliance with Australian and New Zealand laws and regulations.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing products to ensure they comply with all relevant laws and requirements, including AU and NZ regulations. They will also be required to liaise with international and local brands to obtain and review required product information, including ingredient listings and packaging claims.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Liaising with brands to obtain and review product information
- Reviewing products to ensure compliance with AU and NZ laws and regulations
- Obtaining evidence necessary to substantiate product claims
- Conducting AICIS ingredient categorisation and SIR submissions
- Identifying required product changes to meet laws and regulations
- Providing compliance support to multiple business departments
- Process and system improvement

About YouTo be considered for this role, you will need to have:

- Experience with AICIS categorisation
- Experience with the Poisons Standard (SUSMP)
You will also need to have excellent organisation and time management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
