**Electrical Supervisor Role**

This role involves supervising the electrical function as part of the overall maintenance team, delivering reactive and preventative electrical work to minimize lost time due to electrical faults or failures. The successful candidate will help support the business to achieve its operational and strategic goals through facilitating the optimal use of current and future assets.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure the optimal coordination and allocation of resources to deliver electrical requirements efficiently and effectively, within budget, including minimizing utility and consumable usage.
  • Develop solutions in partnership with the business to address organizational and industry challenges as they arise, based on sound engineering principles, legislation, and a risk management approach.
  • Coordinate implementation of allocated projects through to successful operation within agreed time frames and budget, including detail planning, quotations, electrical/performance specifications, selection of suppliers and/or contractors, purchase of agreed equipment, installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with other relevant rules, regulations, and legislative requirements in the workplace.

**Requirements**

  • 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • An appropriate or suitable tertiary electrical qualification.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply AS Electrical standards in practice.
  • Confidence in supervising a team of technical experts.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions and communicate them clearly during breakdown situations.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
