About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Planner/Scheduler to join our VIC Operations team in a long-term oil and gas contract. As a Planner/Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in planning, scheduling, and project management support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and Scheduling: Provide concise information and advice relating to planning, scheduling, and project management support.
  • Review and Analysis: Review planning and scheduling documentation and identify ambiguities, risks, and key issues to be considered.
  • Project Management: Assist the Project Manager in compiling major project plans and execution schedules on behalf of the Project.
  • Resource Allocation: Plans and/or schedules other individuals or resources to meet project requirements.
  • Planning Techniques: Ensure that appropriate planning and scheduling techniques and systems are implemented to meet the projects needs.
  • Communication: Handle enquires and provide information and advice to team members regarding planning and scheduling.
  • Project Costs: Assist with the set-up and management of the project costs, budgets, claims, and forecasts.

Requirements
  • Experience: Similar experience as a maintenance scheduler/planner within the resources sector.
  • Skills: Must be proficient and able to use Primavera P6 for Planning and Scheduling.
  • Desirable Skills: Oil and Gas/Power station planning desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels.
  • Software Skills: Proficient user of MS Office Suite.
  • Right to Work: Proof of right to work in Australia.
