Microsoft's Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) team is seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Integrated Planner / Scheduler to provide services for the Melbourne site in Australia.
Responsibilities- Develop and analyze totally integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) schedules.
- Recommend solutions or recovery plans to schedule or cost impact or delays.
- Provide integrated planning and schedule management services for the campus.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and construction to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
- Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in planning medium-sized capital projects in data center, oil and gas, or chemicals (or related process industry).
- Excellent understanding of Project Planning, Earned Value Management, and Key Commodity Tracking.
- Excellent skills in Oracle P6 project planning software.
- Familiarity with Risk Schedule Analysis.
- Ability to analyze EPC plans/schedule and provide deep insights into trends, issues, mitigations.
- Good verbal, written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
- Experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional groups.
- Strong familiarity with CPM scheduling methodology.
- Ability to present data from a detailed to high-level depending on audience.
- Experience with Data Center construction programs.
