As a key member of our Private Equity team, you'll play a critical role in shaping our investment strategy and driving growth in our portfolio.
The OpportunityWe're seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Associate in Private Equity. In this role, you'll provide analytical and operational support in the development of our Private Equity strategy, and the implementation, reporting, and ongoing management of our Private Equity portfolio.
You'll work closely with our investment team to identify and evaluate investment opportunities, conduct market research, and provide input into portfolio pacing and exposure modelling.
As an Associate, you'll also be responsible for supporting the Private Equity team in managing the portfolio, including handling portfolio data, analytics, and performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to investment papers and provide input into portfolio pacing and exposure modelling.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support investment decisions.
- Support the Private Equity team in managing the portfolio, including handling portfolio data, analytics, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as ESG, legal, and tax, to ensure the effective implementation and management of the Private Equity portfolio.
- Support appointees on advisory boards for our private equity investments, protecting our interests in these external engagements.
We're looking for a candidate with a strong academic background in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field. You should have a demonstrated interest in financial markets and investing, with relevant experience in finance, consulting, or asset management.
You should have a working understanding of financial industry databases and tools, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Pitchbook, and Preqin. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you'll be working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
We value intellectually curious, adaptable individuals who can navigate ambiguity while contributing positively to a team environment. Strong written and analytical skills, particularly in preparing financial models and reports, are essential.
