Job Description:

This is a high-profile position that requires strong leadership skills, experience in pole and line construction projects, and a proven track record of ensuring safety compliance at all times. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising crews, managing work schedules, and coordinating with engineers, project managers, and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the safe installation, replacement, and maintenance of power poles and associated equipment
  • Manage crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project standards
  • Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and enforce safety compliance at all times
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers, and client representatives to coordinate works
  • Monitor progress against schedules and provide daily reporting to site management
Requirements:
  • OHS Construction Card (White Card)
  • Current Driver's Licence (HR preferred)
  • High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogging / Rigging advantageous)
  • Certificate III in ESI – Distribution or equivalent qualification
  • Proven supervisory experience in pole and line construction projects
  • Previous FIFO experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
  • Two contactable work-related references
