Electrical Project Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to manage electrical packages and develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.

  • This role will ensure work undertaken complies with the scope and meets operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project controls and specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Interface with clients to cultivate positive relations and achieve effective communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Monitor progress and identify potential problems in respect of budgets, schedules, engineering standards.
  • Supervise electrical discipline work and ensure it meets quality, cost, and time constraints.
  • Monitor and identify risks and drive implementations of appropriate controls and mitigations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years relevant industry experience in a similar role within the mining, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Knowledge of control systems and instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in working on engineering projects within the mining industry.
  • Previous experience interfacing with clients and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver work within agreed budget, timeframe, and customer requirements.
