The Department of Treasury and Finance is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team as a key enabler in the department's transformation and modernisation efforts.

This role plays a crucial part in shaping the department's future by leveraging digital technologies to reshape operations and work processes. As part of this initiative, the establishment of an internal Centre of Excellence (CoE) for digital services will enhance the existing Information and Technology (I&T) branch's role as a high-quality service provider.

The ideal candidate will assist with the development of an ongoing improvement program that drives digital service enhancement through the introduction of new processes, tools, and ways of working.

This role reports to the Cyber, Risk and Assurance Lead and works closely with key stakeholders, including the Director Digital Delivery, Chief Information Officer, I&T staff across DTF, and external digital partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security strategies and policies to protect the department's digital assets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate cyber threats and risks.
  • Contribute to the establishment of a digital Centre of Excellence, providing exceptional service quality, valuable advice, and tangible outcomes.
