Job Overview

As a key member of our Electrical department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Electrical department to meet output, HSE, and quality targets by providing technical expertise and assistance.
  • Collaborate with Production to ensure timely delivery of customer demands and optimize electrical system performance.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on workshop and plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance, driving continuous improvement within the department.
  • Ensure all activities conform to documented instructions and required standards, maintaining a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Manage labour productivity and handle multiple jobs efficiently, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Oversee electrical repairs and installations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Engage in equipment breakdown maintenance and ensure calibrated equipment is up to date, minimizing downtime and optimizing system performance.
  • Provide technical support and assist with quality concerns resolution, driving continuous improvement and excellence within the department.
Requirements
  • Cert III Electrotechnology Electrician or above
  • Licensed Electrician
  • Min 2 years' Experience as an Electrician in the industrial sector
