Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Electrical Engineer Intern. This is a fixed-term position, lasting until early December 2024, and will provide an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with our experienced Electrical Engineers.

Based at our office in Sydney, NSW, you will be responsible for supporting our team in various tasks, including:

  • Interpreting sales requirements
  • Managing bill of materials
  • Drafting electrical designs
  • Designing electrical systems
  • Maintaining documentation and project management
  • Supporting project build stage
  • Participating in factory acceptance tests and commissioning
  • Assisting in sourcing electrical parts
  • Learning to configure VSD and soft starter
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
  • An Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree or working towards one
  • The ability to interpret and analyze electrical drawings
  • Strong motivation and drive
  • Confident communication and relationship-building skills
  • A strong command of MS Office
  • The ability to work under pressure and resolve problems
  • An understanding of fundamental electrical design and application concepts
