Family Law Legal Secretary Opportunity

About the Role

Kovacevic Lawyers is a leading law firm in the Wollongong region, providing a comprehensive range of legal services to individuals and businesses.

We are seeking an exceptional Family Law Legal Secretary to join our team. As a full-time member of our legal support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to solicitors
  • Drafting and formatting legal documents, correspondence and filing of court documents on various platforms
  • Scheduling appointments, managing calendars and coordinating meetings
  • Handling client inquiries and providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining detailed filing systems and records
  • Assisting with general office duties as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Family Law Legal Secretary or similar administrative role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PEXA and familiarity with SILQ
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude
