Job Title: General Medicine Specialist

This role plays a vital part in our hospital’s general medicine department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and contributing to medical knowledge and skills development.

We seek an experienced professional who possesses excellent communication and clinical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality patient care in a general medicine setting, including assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing care strategies.
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, allied health professionals, and other healthcare providers.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to policy and procedure development.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including writing clear and concise notes and reports.
Requirements:
  • General Registration with AHPRA and current work rights in Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a general medicine setting, preferably in a teaching hospital environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to medical knowledge and skills development.
