This role supports the HR Manager in the end-to-end recruitment function. The position may extend or become permanent for the right person.


About This Role

You will work from our Newcastle CBD office, juggling and multitasking – working on both urgent and important tasks. This exciting opportunity offers you the platform to demonstrate your capability and further develop your HR career.


The key functions of this role include:
  • Developing job briefs and drafting job advertisements
  • Managing the full candidate experience from application to making offers
  • Onboarding new starters to ensure they understand our way and can contribute meaningfully
  • Optimising sourcing, screening and selection of top talent

About You

You will have a natural style that engages with professionals, providing a positive experience for all applicants. Your communication style will be engaging, respectful and professional.


The success person will:
  1. Have a minimum of 3 years working in a fast-paced recruitment environment
  2. Have good working knowledge of LinkedIn sourcing and other job board websites
  3. Lovely a challenge, being busy and able to keep calm under pressure
  4. Be experienced with a recruitment ATS or HRIS system
  5. Have an outcome focus, balanced with an appreciation of good process
