Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in a civil construction environment. As the face of the site, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed and projects are completed on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise site activities, including plant, materials, labour and subcontractors
  • Plan, coordinate and manage site operations efficiently
  • Collaborate with leadership team to achieve project goals and targets
  • Document and maintain site records, including Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and licenses
  • Ensure safe work practices are enforced across all site-related works
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and planning authorities

Requirements:

  • Construction White Card
  • Victorian Open Drivers Licence & HR Truck Licence
  • Rail Industry Worker (RIW) preferred or willing to obtain
  • Experience in a similar role in a Civil Construction environment
  • Strong contractor management, leadership and supervision skills
  • An understanding of Project Management methodologies and industry processes and regulations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to build rapport
  • Solid organisational, multitasking and time-management skills
  • High level of computer proficiency including Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel)
