Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven individual to lead our production team in achieving exceptional output. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervising teams, promoting workplace safety, and maintaining high-quality standards.

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, managing machine rounds, and monitoring production efficiency. They will also provide guidance and support to production operators, ensuring they meet their performance targets.

As a key member of our team, the Production Supervisor will contribute to improving processes, implementing lean manufacturing techniques, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in a production supervision or leadership role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Forklift license and current driver's license required

Skills:
  • Extensive experience in leading a team and promoting safety in a workplace
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and complex mechanical equipment
  • PET Blow-moulding and die change practical experience
  • Strength in mentoring production operators
  • Forklift license
  • High attention to detail
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Willingness to follow all instructions, and adhere to OH&S and company policies
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • An understanding of basic hygiene requirements
  • Own reliable transport and current driver's licence
  • Perform daily machine rounds at the start of each shift and twice throughout your shift
  • Have full working rights within Australia
  • Ability to perform and recognise bottle quality and operating efficiency
  • Previous experience with production of plastic products would be highly desirable
