About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs and providing appropriate care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • They will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as an enrolled nurse (division 2) general with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • At least two years full-time post-registration nursing experience within the last five years in an acute care, primary healthcare, or military setting.
  • Recent participation in continuing professional development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
  • Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
