**Laboratory Haematologist Position Available**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced laboratory haematologist to join our team on an eight-week fixed-term, part-time basis.

The successful candidate will provide relief for a staff member's long service leave and work 24 hours a week from April 2025 - 22 June 2025.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To provide high-quality laboratory haematology services, including the analysis of blood samples and the interpretation of results.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  • To maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient information and laboratory test results.
  • To participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.

**Requirements:**

  • A registration as a medical practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A current fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia or equivalent.
  • Appropriate training and experience in the field of laboratory haematology.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • Demonstrated commitment and ongoing activity in research and/or clinical audit activities.
  • Involvement in teaching and training of medical, technical and nursing staff.
