Job Title: Haematology Specialist

Job Description

Clinical Haematology is a dynamic department that provides services to inpatients and outpatients. We manage a wide range of benign and malignant haematological conditions, including apheresis, allogeneic and autologous stem cell transplantation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of patients with haematological malignancies, disorders of haemostasis and thrombosis, and other haematologic conditions. This includes participation in themed clinics, ward service, and multidisciplinary meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to high-quality patient care, teamwork, and ongoing training and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, or equivalent.
  • Have appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of haematology.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, training and research.
