As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of underground mining activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Oversee and enforce safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Supervise Underground Mining Operations: Manage and coordinate underground mining activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of production.
  • Lead and Mentor a Team: Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to a team of miners, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Report on Production and Safety Metrics: Analyze and report on key performance indicators, including production levels, safety incidents, and compliance metrics.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in underground mining, with a strong background in safety and compliance.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of miners.
