Customer Implementation Specialist

About the Role:
DB Schenker is seeking a Customer Implementation & Onboarding Coordinator to support our high-performing Airfreight team. This role involves working closely with Business Development and Customer Service Teams to set key Airfreight Customers up for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of scope of work to identify key operational requirements and identify gaps to be addressed
- Provide proactive assistance in the setup and maintenance of systems during the implementation phase
- Deliver an in-depth handover of each Client to the relevant Operations and Account Management teams
- Monitor the achievement of agreed KPIs and actively seek feedback for improvement
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the Freight Forwarding or Supply Chain Industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Highly process-driven with a strategic mindset to balance customer needs and operational requirements
- Understanding of tender documents and relevant IT tools such as EDI and API
- Knowledge of Airfreight import and/or export processes and previous experience in quoting/pricing
