Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact in managing workers compensation claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workers compensation claims in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal standards.
  • Provide specialist advice to stakeholders and business partners to progress claim management.
  • Contribute to maintaining a strong compliance focus across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Implement and monitor claim policies, procedures, and tools to ensure legislative and internal requirements are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems and procedures for claims support and management, including auditing and improvement initiatives.
  • Represent our interests at mediation, arbitration, and similar forums.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, such as regulators, reinsurers, and actuaries.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in workers compensation claims management.
  • Working knowledge of workers compensation legislation.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Sound commercial decision-making skills.
  • Proven legal and litigation knowledge and experience.
