We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support and assistance to individuals according to their individualised plans.
- Assist clients with daily activities while promoting independence and community participation.
- Support clients in developing life skills, including personal care, household tasks, and social interactions.
- Implement strategies to address challenging behaviours and promote positive outcomes for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on client progress and any incidents or concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in providing support and care for individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of disability support principles and practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people with disabilities and their families.
- Demonstrated understanding of person-centred approaches to disability support.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
