As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming tasks.
  • Support mobility, including lifting, transferring, and using mobility aids to promote independence.
  • Administer medications under supervision as required.
  • Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance to ensure nutritional needs are met.
  • Support clients with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and community activities to foster social connections.
  • Encourage engagement in social and recreational activities to enhance overall well-being.
  • Assist with developing life skills and promoting independence through personalized support plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to build trust and strong relationships with clients and their families.

You will work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and support teams to deliver person-centered care that respects autonomy and promotes self-determination. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills will enable you to build trust with our clients and their families.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Covid 19 certificate
  • Infection Control Certificate
  • Assist Client with Medication Training Certificate
  • Car Registration
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance
