Disability Support Worker Job Description

Your role will involve assisting clients with daily living activities, meal planning and preparation, and providing mobility assistance.

Required skills and qualifications:

Essential Skills and Qualifications

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability
- First Aid certificate
- Manual handling
- Experience with transferring clients.
- Police clearance
- NDIS Check
- Valid drivers license and car (a must have)

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum 12 months experience in similar role (desired) or someone from Nursing background.
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- NDIS Screening (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required for job location)

This is a permanent, casual, temp to perm position available for individuals who are passionate about supporting people with disabilities. We offer competitive salary rates of $28.00 - $36.00 per hour, overtime pay, and penalty rates.
