Job Title: Assistant Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical knowledge and competence within an acute surgical setting. The successful candidate will have a passion for client care and uphold high standards of customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, plan, oversee, and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance and support of the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator.
  • Provide dynamic planning and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide high-quality service and care to patients.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Clinical leadership experience or postgraduate specialty qualifications are highly regarded.
  • HDU experience is desirable.
  • Current clinical experience working in acute surgical services.

Requirements:

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  • Ramsay may also require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunization against infectious diseases, depending on the role.
