Peninsula Private Hospital Jacaranda Ward is seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our leadership team Multiple Part-Time opportunities available.
About The RolePeninsula Private Jacaranda Ward is a 34-bed acute surgical ward with High Dependency beds. Surgical specialties include Vascular, Plastics, Urology, Thoracic, Bariatric, Orthopaedics, Spinal, Colorectal, and Neurosurgery.
As a member of our clinical leadership team, you will review, plan, oversee, and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance and support of the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator. As an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager, your role involves clinical aptitude, dynamic planning, and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide high-quality service and care to our patients.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you must demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and competence within an acute surgical setting. You will have a passion for client care and uphold high standards of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
The flexibility to work 7-day rotating shifts, including weekends and nights, is also key for this role.
- You will also bring:
Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. Clinical leadership experience or postgraduate specialty qualifications are highly regarded. HDU experience is desirable. Current clinical experience working in acute surgical services. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
Remuneration: The base hourly rate ranges from $55.92 + superannuation, depending on experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
