The Role of Medical Physics TeamOur team is dedicated to delivering clinical diagnostic medical physics and radiation safety services. The team consists of:
- Radiology medical physicists who conduct compliance testing of imaging equipment
- Nuclear medicine medical physicists who perform radiation dose auditing and image quality optimisation
- Physics registrar who undertakes radiation dosimetry
- Physics administrator who carries out essential medical physics tasks
This position offers close collaboration with radiology professional groups and opportunities to contribute to high-impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting compliance testing of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Performing radiation dose auditing and image quality optimisation to maintain high standards
- Undertaking radiation dosimetry to ensure patient safety
- Carrying out essential medical physics tasks to support clinical operations
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- ACPSM registered Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physicist (Radiology)
- Eligibility for ACPSEM registration in radiology physics or completion of ACPSEM DIMP TEAP certification program
