We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Design & Build Recruitment. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a commercial construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of site personnel, including tradespeople, laborers, and engineers
  • Liaise with senior management, engineers, and principal contractors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Monitor and control project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment
  • Develop and implement project schedules, including timelines and milestones
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a Site Manager role
  • Proven track record of managing commercial construction projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; construction-related tertiary qualification preferred
