  • This leadership position is responsible for the management of hospital operations, nursing, and midwifery functions.

The Coordinator provides strategic direction, ensures effective resource allocation, and oversees patient flow to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

They collaborate with Directors of Nursing / Midwifery to uphold professional standards, codes, and behaviors as legislated by NMBA, AHPRA, and Eastern Health Policies/Values.

">

The team operates across two sites, supporting diverse patient cases including Sub-acute GEM & Rehab, Aged Psychiatry, Dialysis, Palliative Care, and Residential Aged Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve organizational objectives
  • Manage resource allocation to optimize patient care and service delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe practice and effective communication
  • Educate and support staff in maintaining high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to inform decision-making

Requirements:

  • Current Nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Post Graduate qualifications or working towards them
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Commitment to high-quality care
  • Ability to work within a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
