Job Opportunity

Seeking candidates for Special Class Welders to work on the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities.

Project Overview

Partnership between Clough, Water Corporation and Jacobs is delivering the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for this project.

Responsibilities
  • Read drawings, work orders and production schedules to understand job tasks.
  • Demonstrate safe usage of all tools and equipment associated with welding.
  • Operate manual or semi-automated welding equipment to conduct various weld processes.
  • Keep accurate documentation and records up-to-date.
  • Prepare items for welding.
Requirements
  • Construction White/Blue Card required.
  • Australian C Class Driver's Licence needed.
  • Trade Certification necessary.
  • Ability to pass a 6G weld test to AS/NZS 4041 required.
  • First Aid skills necessary.
  • High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (desired).
  • High Risk Work Licence – EWP (desired).
