Job Title:

Clinical Pharmacist


Job Summary

As a clinical pharmacist, you will be responsible for the direct provision of pharmaceutical services to patients and staff. Your duties will include inpatient and outpatient dispensing, supervision of technical staff, ward-based clinical services, provision of medicines information, and education services to clinical staff.

About You
  • A minimum of 5 years of hospital and clinical pharmacy experience is required. Exceptions may be made for candidates with under 5 years of hospital experience who demonstrate exceptional suitability in other areas essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated sound level of current clinical pharmacy practice and knowledge.
  • Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice.
  • Member of relevant pharmacy professional groups.

  • Direct provision of pharmaceutical services to patients and staff.
  • Supervision of technical staff.
  • Provision of medicines information and education services to clinical staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree.
  • Relevant or working towards pharmacy or health-related postgraduate qualifications.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
