We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality clinical care to Eligible Personnel in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) codes, guidelines, and statements for registered nurses.
- Perform triage and assessment of Eligible Personnel presenting to the health facility.
- Coordinate/supervise sick parades, including triage, assessment, outpatient, and inpatient treatment.
- Manage patient clinical records in both electronic and paper formats in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures.
- Order and maintain clinical stores and pharmaceutical imprest supplies.
- Participate in governance activities including clinical reviews, health surveillance, auditing.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 12 months full-time Post Graduate experience within the previous 5 years in an acute care, primary health care or military setting (or part-time equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality clinical care in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures.
- Experience in triage, assessment, and management of patient care in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of AHPRA codes, guidelines, and statements for registered nurses.
- Ability to effectively coordinate/supervise sick parades, medical appointments, and maintain clinical records in electronic and paper formats.
- Understanding of infection control practices and compliance with Defence and Australian Standards.
