Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Compliance Specialist.

About the Role
  • This position involves providing compliance advisory support to the business, reviewing and interpreting regulatory obligations, and identifying and assessing compliance incidents.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in compliance experience, deep knowledge of relevant regulations, and excellent analytical skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing compliance breach registers, conducting risk assessments, and developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and regulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pragmatic compliance advice and support to the business.
  • Review and interpret regulatory requirements to ensure operational compliance.
  • Identify and assess compliance incidents, advise on remediation, and prevent recurrence.
Requirements
  • Proven compliance experience in the financial services industry.
  • Deep knowledge of AFSL/ACL requirements, APRA standards, and AML/CTF obligations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
