The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Cost Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic project in support of exciting defence initiatives for the Commonwealth of Australia.

As a Cost Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking qualitative and quantitative cost assurance activities across both pre-approved and approved cost modelling tasks against a range of projects/programs to support regular reporting and Gate approaches.

Responsibilities:
  • Undertake cost assurance activities across multiple functions
  • Analyse information and extract key findings from qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Prepare executive briefings in accordance with Defence policies and procedures
  • Lead or coordinate monthly governance and reporting
  • Identify and implement mitigation strategies to manage risks, issues, and opportunities relating to programme objectives
  • Other relevant tasks as required relating to programme delivery of capability acquisition and sustainment

You must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience. Experience in a CASG/Defence/industry environment is also essential.
