Our client operates a 131-bed regional public hospital in Western Australia, featuring modern treatment facilities. The hospital's redevelopment project, completed at a cost of $59.6 million, includes upgraded clinical works, a palliative care unit, emergency department, high dependency unit, and medical imaging department.
The Anaesthetics Department requires a Consultant Anaesthetist to provide leadership, management, training, supervision, and education for Senior Medical Practitioners, Interns, Resident Medical Officers, and Registrars in collaboration with the Regional Director of Medical Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the Anaesthetics Department team
- Providing expert anaesthetic services to patients
- Training and supervising junior medical staff
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
- Equivalent specialist qualifications
- Assessment by ANZCA as a Consultant
- International Medical Graduates (IMGs) with an upcoming or past ANZCA interview
