About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transportation and Fulfillment Director to join our team at Endeavour Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing our last mile delivery, sortation centers, and transport requests across the state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Grow Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our driver fleet and third-party logistics partners to ensure effective execution of all business partner deliveries.
  • Operational Performance: Understand performance against daily and weekly scorecards and drive action to improve or update on operational performance.
  • Investigations and Improvement: Proactively investigate and develop partner action plans to improve DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) performance.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Be the go-to person for all day-to-day operations, sortation, warehouse, and service providers.
  • Delivery and Financial Targets: Manage delivery and financial targets for transport and warehouse operations.
  • Volume Forecast Projections: Understand volume forecast projections and ensure business partners and teams are aligned and planned to execute customer commitments.
  • Safety Culture: Lead and influence a safety culture for our contractors and customers.
  • Safety Standards and Compliance: Responsible for safety standards, chain of responsibility (CoR), and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) compliance for Endeavour's Fulfillment and Delivery Operations, including partners and contractors.
  • Maintain Business in Safety: Maintain the business in safety, compliance, and ethical resourcing for the last mile fleets.
  • Safety Meetings and Audits: Manage safety meetings, support audits, and improve safety and compliance standards across Endeavour's Last Mile operations.
  • Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives: Support supply chain strategic initiatives by providing insight and recommendations based on compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Experience: Collaborate with the Partnership and Network Planning Lead to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience in fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain management, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence.
  • Compliance and Safety: Strong understanding of compliance and workplace safety requirements; knowledge of RSA compliance for alcohol delivery would be advantageous.
  • Delivery Driver Lifecycle Management: Proficient with delivery driver lifecycle management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization.
  • Senior Executive Level: Demonstrated ability to operate at senior executive level, including presenting and running meetings/workshops.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrated financial acumen, with experience managing P&L responsibilities.
  • Operational Team Management: Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse operational team.
