Sr Communications Strategist Adviser

About the Role

This key position supports the Chief Communications Officer (CCO) in providing strategic advice and guidance to the department-wide communications and engagement leadership team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the CCO in developing and implementing strategies to enhance the department's reputation and achieve its objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic advice and support to the CCO and other executive leaders
  • Developing and implementing communication plans and campaigns
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to identify issues, risks, and requirements
  • Preparing and presenting reports, briefings, and other documents
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High-level of organizational skills and attention to detail

Additionally, you will have experience in:

  • Communication strategy development and implementation
  • Stakeholder engagement and management
  • Report writing and presentation
