About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Key Worker to join our team at Ability Action Australia. As a Key Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services to children and families in our rural community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with projects that improve clinical practice and service delivery
  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Deliver Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) services to participants within schools, homes, and the community
  • Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • University qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, or Early Childhood Education
  • Extensive experience in working with children aged 0-7 years and families
  • Experience in delivering services under the NDIS
  • Strong knowledge and advocacy for the Key Worker model
  • Demonstrated suitability to working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a caseload
  • A desire and passion to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic ECI services
  • Genuine passion for working in the Disability sector
  • Excellent communication skills
