**Job Title:** Training and Development Specialist - Refinery Operations

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Glencore. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to support the operational excellence of our refinery operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop training programs to meet the needs of our refinery operations, including training on equipment, processes, and safety procedures.
  • Deliver training sessions to refinery personnel, including theoretical and practical assessments.
  • Conduct training needs analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training programs.
  • Develop and maintain training records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training programs are aligned with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in training and development.

**Requirements:**

  • High level of health, safety, and environmental awareness.
  • Demonstrated recent experience in delivering training in a minerals processing or refining operation and associated current qualifications.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office and Oracle.
